After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" --Revelation 7:9, 10

Based on that...I think we can say that witchcraft is what we see on the Christian Best Seller List.
I think it is natural to humans to try to figure out a system to reach the conclusions we desire. That's why we are called to live supernatural lives--partakers of the Divine Nature.
Speaking of Best Seller lists, my favorite false prophet has a new book titled Become a Better You. How about that???
I am wondering if you also have a favorite true prophet?
Interesting thoughts. Sorry it took so long for me to get around to reading your blog.
Ultimately the True Prophet is Jesus. I have several that have ministered to me and I believe them be true to the Word. They include Neil McClendon and John Piper.
Yes He is Goatfarmer. I also like Isaiah and Jeremiah. I will finish the gospels in my SS class this year, then do a series on the book of Proverbs, and I am trying now to get things together to study the prophets in context with whom they were contemporary.
